I was born in 1975 in Zagreb, where I graduated from the School of Medicine in 1999 and passed the specialist exam in anesthesiology, resuscitation, and intensive care in 2006. Since 2002, I have been working as an anesthesiologist at the Children’s Hospital Zagreb, and since early 2017, I have also been leading the Office of Professional Medical Affairs at the Croatian Medical Chamber.
Since February 2016, I have served as the Secretary of the Section for Pediatric Anesthesiology of the Croatian Society for Anesthesiology and Intensive Care of the Croatian Medical Association, and since late 2018, I have also been a member of the Executive Board of the Croatian Hospital Doctors Association (HUBOL). I am a member of the European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care (ESAIC), as well as the European Society for Paediatric Anaesthesiology (ESPA). I am currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Medical Law at the Faculty of Law in Split. In 2016, I served as Deputy Minister of Health, during which time I realized that the present and future of Croatia can be improved through the engagement of citizens committed to the progress and wellbeing of the community.
